Logicool and Panasonic boost morale of local rugby team

Ashby RFC under 15 squad recently received their newly printed Rugby shirts sponsored by Panasonic and Logicool.

The shirts were received at the right time. “Morale has been very low lately and despite many hard fought performances the boys had lost all matches except one this season” says Coach of Ashby RFC and MD of Logicool, Karl Richardson. The shirts were gratefully received by the team who have always suffered from “hand-me-downs” in the past. This season they were the not so lucky recipients of 16 old and well worn shirts for a 15 man team.

This week the team were presented with a full set of new shirts co-sponsored by Logical and Panasonic. “The site of the shirts gave them a massive lift and they ran out with their heads held high ready to do battle against Long Eaton, a tough side who always give Ashby a bruising encounter and where the last two matches were settled by one score only. We cannot say how much the result was influenced by the shirts but a 52-0 hammering of Long Eaton and all boys clutching their shirts was a pride to see” explains Ashby coach.
